- Affalterbach – about 1,700 employees: produces AMG® engines
- Berlin – about 2,500 employees: produces engines, components, and more
- Bremen – about 12,500 employees: manufactures the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, SL, SLC, GLC, and GLC Coupe
- Hamburg – about 2,500 employees: produces axles and axle components, exhaust emission technology components, steering columns, and more
- Kamenz – about 600 employees: produces lithium-ion drive batteries
- Kölleda and Arnstadt – about 1,400 employees: produces engines and AMG® engines
- Rastatt – about 6,500 employees: manufactures the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class, and GLA
- Sindelfingen – about 25,000 employees: manufactures the Mercedes-Benz CLS, S-Class, E-Class, Mercedes-AMG® GT, and Mercedes-Maybach
Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Plant in the U.S.
Yes, you read that right. There is a Mercedes-Benz manufacturing plant in the U.S. Built in 1995 as the first such facility for the automaker outside of Germany, the Mercedes-Benz manufacturing plant in the U.S. is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This sprawling campus employs 3,700 people and produces the GLS, GLE, GLE Coupe, and C-Class sedans that you see in Woodlands.
